Tagua Seed Bracelet

Gorgeous brightly coloured spiral cuff bracelet, hand made using Tagua seed beads.

In the heart of the Amazon grows a special tree called the Tagua, or ivory palm. For centuries the Tagua nut has been used to make buttons, jewellery and other carved items. The nuts are harvested and then dried for 3 years, before being cut into managable pieces and polished and coloured with natural dyes.
